Currently, Gentoo's tree contains joblib 1.1.0. However, version 1.2.0 was released 8 monts ago (https://github.com/joblib/joblib/releases/tag/1.2.0) (https://joblib.readthedocs.io/en/latest/developing.html#release-1-2-0) Furthermore, Google Collab uses version 1.2.0. I believe versions are backwards compatible but not forwards compatible A simple version bump should do the trick (I hope)
