I have just completed installing the OS and KDE. After logging in, I find a widget called "Discover"
When I click on it I get this message:

"Discover currently cannot be used to install any apps or perform system updates because none of its app backends are available"
Comment 1 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2023-04-11 08:36:24 UTC
It still works though, right?
Comment 2 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2023-04-11 11:12:38 UTC
The wording of this "error" message is upstream's choice. I won't patch it.

You may enable USE="flatpak" for having an application backend in discover.
