Well, 4 days have passed since the release, and I installed 102.8 from my overlay, it works for me. I had to remove two patches (0031 and 0032; python-11-compatibility; both already applied upstream, with a change in const type) and, for being able to do that, to source patches from my overlay files/ folder instead of Gentoo devs distfiles servers. No other changes, just ebuild filename bump. https://github.com/halcon74/halcon-overlay
