Description kgotlinux 2023-01-29 22:38:38 UTC
I use net-misc/networkmanager 1.40.6 with net-vpn/networkmanager-fortisslvpn 1.4.0, net-vpn/openfortivpn 1.19.0 and sys-apps/dbus 1.15.2. When I tried to connect to VPN via Network Manager on 2023-01-10, everything was working fine, but a week later, 2023-01-17 with no version updates, I got an error in syslog
dbus: failure: connect-failed (1).

The OpenFortiVPN package itself works well and I can connect manually from the console. When I try to connect with Network Manager from command line as root, I got an error
Error: Connection activation failed: Unknown reason

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Network Manager
2. Try to connect to VPN with FortiVPN
3. ERROR
Actual Results:
dbus: failure: connect-failed (1).

Expected Results:
VPN connected

My dbus is of course on, if there's any doubt.

I no longer have access to or use a fortinet VPN myself so I'm afraid I can no longer test/proxy maintain this package.

@floppym can I be removed from this package / what should I do to get that done?

You can drop the maintainership, bugs are always assigned to the person listed in metadata.xml file.
