wayvnc 0.4.0-r1 fails to compile: https://bugs.gentoo.org/888641 just renaming the file to version 0.5.0 without changing anything compiles it. but I do think that a notice should be added to know that the input doesn't work in all composers so it will be clearer. something like: wayvnc specifically targets wlroots-based compositors like sway, wayfire, and river, if you get the error "Virtual Pointer protocol not supported by compositor" when starting it, it means that your composer doesn't support it.
