Issue: sci-libs/beagle-3.0.3-r1 fails to compile (DASH-SYSTEM).
Discovered on: amd64 (internal ref: dash_tinderbox)

NOTE:
(DASH-SYSTEM) in the summary means that the bug was found on a machine that runs /bin/sh as dash but this bug MAY or MAY NOT BE related to dash.

This is an outdated copy of https://www.gnu.org/software/autoconf-archive/ax_prefix_config_h.html which doesn't have important fixes for dash.

The package is from 2007, has no reverse dependencies, is unmaintained upstream (in 2010 a version 4 alpha was released using cmake, the project has seen no other activity upstream).

I cannot figure out how to easily regenerate the autoconf script with an updated copy of the macro.

Does anyone even *use* this software?
