(haven't tried) Although this make me feel img_formats.txt tests may be overly picky, e.g. small things like flags which sound to me to be entirely non-issues. As upstream says, perhaps it's more aimed at developers than for trying to find regressions.

(haven't tried) Yeah, it is ffmpeg-5 but I know of no actual issues using it -- I'll experiment a bit more and may try to skip a few of these volatile tests to work around both cases. Confirmation on real hardware would be nice, but I was able to play videos with qemu-system-ppc64 despite reproducing the same test failures, so I "think" that's fine (maybe upstream will have more to say).

Thanks to ernsteiswuerfel for verifying runtime is fine on real hardware. Tried with ppc64 qemu and the other tests don't fail.
