Description Fabio Rossi 2005-04-08 07:53:10 UTC
KChm is a new chm viewer for KDE. It consists of kio_chm, corresponding kpart(so you can view chm files in konqueror) and a small viewer on top of this.

kchm-0.6.5.ebuild

The category could be kde-misc
Comment 2 Paulo Fidalgo 2005-05-05 10:13:16 UTC
that's a nice app to have in portage.
I was searching for something like this.
Comment 3 Paulo Fidalgo 2005-05-24 06:33:49 UTC
tested with kde 3.4 from split ebuilds and it's working like a charm :)
I think this is ready for portage, at least for ~x86... but I'm not a gentoo dev :(
Comment 4 Dominik Stadler (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-06-05 23:19:44 UTC
Please note that there is a similar application called "kchmviewer" which I just
added to portage, see Bug 91193.
Comment 5 Fabio Rossi 2005-06-06 14:14:10 UTC
I can't compare the two apps because kchmviewer doesn't compile :-(
Comment 6 Timo Nentwig 2005-06-07 12:35:26 UTC
Same here. kchmviewer looks like quite a professional application how ever
kchm does so, too and kchmviewer does not compile on my system either.
Comment 7 Fabio Rossi 2005-06-20 11:55:11 UTC
Dominik, close this bug when kchmviewer'll get stable in portage
Comment 8 Andrew Kirilenko 2005-07-31 12:14:17 UTC
kchm is better than chmviewer, simply because it contains kpart.
Comment 9 Jakub Moc (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2006-08-18 07:22:12 UTC
Use kchmviewer, this thing hasn't been updated since the bug has been filed.
