In archlinux same version just uses gtk3, also had no problem after customizing ebuild with --enable-gtk3 option. Right now it seems the only available xmms2 client, because ario still has opened https://sourceforge.net/p/ario-player/bugs/30/ Reproducible: Always
I'll have a look later, I don't use a gui for it but I already use xmms2 so it'll be trivial.
