Caused by grep 3.8.
What would be the steps to reproduce? The fix for this is easy, but I rather test it before close this bug with commit. I have grep-3.8 here and simply running /bin/egrep do not gets me those warnings to stdout/err.
I see that this warning is not a thing in revbump, all clear. Will be fixed.
