Description Diego Elio Pettenò (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2005-03-21 09:21:39 UTC
The attached patch applied over current ebuild make possible to build gpg-agent on ppc-macos without problems (and using it also).
The append-ldflag is conditioned to not using ppc-macos.

It also passes nls useflag to the configure as should be.

Note: it will not install cleanly at the moment as there are also other dependencies with the same problem (ldflags to conditionally ignore and missing keywords). Anyway they seems to work perfectly anyway.

HTH, Diego

Crypto herd: this okay with you? I'd like to have it committed.

gpg-agent-1.9.18 and dependancies should be ready for keywording.

nls fixed too - thanks Diego.

macos people feel free to remove any ldflag problems from any crypto package.

current status:

libassuan compiles, not yet marked ~ppc-macos (needs testing with gpg-agent)
libksba fails to compile, although marked ~ppc-macos :( see bug #104052
pth compiles, marked ~ppc-macos

unable to start with gpg-agent

I cannot find this package in the tree (any more).
