I emerged sys-apps/memtest86+ 6.00_beta2 on an amd64 machine running in EFI mode. It built and installed as expected. I ran the memory test for a while after installing it and the subsequent reboot, that worked fine too. I informed the ebuild owner over IRC a short time later. I think it's reasonable to conclude that sys-apps/memtest86+ 6.00_beta2 should be keyworded as ~amd64.
