Hello, I just would like to report a bug recently with the 0.5.1 version (the only one) of net-im/whatsapp-desktop-bin. Recently, it's impossible to synchronize my message from my iphone 12. Even I remove all registered phone and I try to register it again, I fall in an infinite synchronization loop. Unfortunately this appears to be an upstream issue with WhatsApp Web itself in certain browsers (and this package is basically just a small browser with a nice tray icon and stuff)[1]. So there is not a lot I (or the upstream maintainers) can do to fix this, it is up to WhatsApp/Facebook to fix their webapp. You can try net-im/whatsapp-for-linux from the ::guru overlay but from what I can see on their upstream GitHub page, it is also affected by the same issue[2]. Firefox/Chromium/Google Chrome do still work, but WhatsApp Web is currently completely broken in the less standard browsers (and sadly also this electron app). Sorry for the bad news. Also, net-im/wazzapp is broken because it's no longer being developed and uses an older version of electron that has issues with Nvidia cards. https://github.com/NVIDIA/open-gpu-kernel-modules/issues/302

I'll keep wazzapp around though because I actually like it a bit better. It's virtually no extra effort to maintain both of them anyway.
Hello, I seen now the bug for the whatsapp-desktop-bin is fixed. Is it normal it not available actually in the portage tree ? Because when I tried to emerge it, it wasn't exist
