"*** module-load : Dynlinking this file is not supported (bfd)" message appears whenever I try a demo or use (dhc-make). I see it's supposed to be using dlopen() now instead of libbfd (bug #55452) but it isn't working.

Lush 1.1 is now available from sourceforge and fixes this problem. I just
removed the "--without-bfd" from the ebuild.

Thanks for this bug report. An ebuild for lush-1.1 has been committed to portage.
