Is this "new" license a duplicate? Is it free?
Fedora say that is MIT https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/rocm-smi/blob/rawhide/f/rocm-smi.spec#_6
It looks like BSD but there are (old) files installed with MIT license. 5.0.2 is already updated to include MIT too. https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/dev-util/rocm-smi?id=1751e08cc123a50bbf4cc56ee6851e57cdce3641 As to NCSA-AMD, there are some files with custom copyright attribution and an issue opened: https://github.com/RadeonOpenCompute/rocm_smi_lib/issues/97 also: https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/rocm-smi-lib Licenses: custom:NCSAOSL As to is it free, it's not added to any free license groups so I assumed that doesn't make it a "free" license. Although maybe it should be added to the restricted list.
This is a strange hybrid of MIT and BSD: The first paragraph and the warranty disclaimer are taken from MIT, with the 3 BSD clauses between them. Should be added to @MISC-FREE AFAICS.
