Today i had to install influxDB 2.1 and 1.8 could not be used. And it seems like Gentoo ebuild is stuck on 1.8.3 for a while now. Could we get this package updated to the latest version please?
I may give updating it to latest version a try later today.

Testing 2.7 here. There's no 'influx' (cli) command anymore. There should be, if i understand the official site correctly. For ex: https://docs.influxdata.com/influxdb/v2.7/reference/cli/influx/
