Due to the upcoming unslotted OpenEXR stabilisation this will lead to conflicts. Maybe you can do something with the patch linked in the corresponding dev-games/openscenegraph bug.
This bug was filed under the impression of media-libs/ilmbase blocking media-libs/openexr:3. Nevertheless, Fedora and Arch are applying patches. So this requires testing...
