media-sound/ncmpc received several updates over the past 1.5 years and is now at version 0.46. Significant changes include the removal of the Boost dependency, move from PCRE to PCRE2, as well as replacement of the defunct lyrics plugin. It also fixes several crash bugs. Reproducible: Always
