Please provide * the complete build.log as attachment and * paste the emerge info as described on https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Attach_the_logs_to_the_bug_ticket Perhaps we can see anything special there. The package seems to be outdated. We should either update to 0.7, or last rite this package. Do you need this software? Could you do tests with 0.7, if someone provides an ebuild?
Created attachment 762082 [details] build log i wasn't able to save the log 'proper' way, by forcing portage to not erase it upon build, but this is the log i took from the terminal.
also i tried to build 0.7 by myself, found only 'orig' file from debian, not the actual source, and it works, the functionality is there. there i have the text input slowness, but it is not related to this issue. >Do you need this software? i remember enjoying its usage. and i do use many dockapps in wmaker, so yeah, i guess so. in general i am glad gentoo has such a good support for windowmaker, because it's my favourite wm, and i cannot like any alternative as much as i like it.
