Upstream discontinued Linux support over 10 years ago so we are now one major version and countless known bugs behind. No source archives published for current versions. Untmaintained in Gentoo for years, EAPI 5. Removal in 30 days.

What are you talking about? It just works.
The fact that it "just works" does not directly affect any of the reasons for us having decided to last-rite this package. If you would rather us keep it you are of course very much welcome to proxy-maintain it - starting with a bump to EAPI 8.
