Big thanks for the report.

I have pushed a new version (1.1.2) to tree. Could you please check if it fixes the issue?

Sadly, from looking at "LastTest.log" I don't see useful information why it failed. But looking at "build.log", I see truncated text "Exception: Illegal". I might guess, from my basic knowledge about arm64, that the resulting executable has illegal instructions for the running arm64 CPU on this machine.

In case the new version doesn't fix it, could I ask for a coredump and the resulting build directory - those would help to find the problematic illegal instruction.

Hm, it passes on one arm64 machine (a more modern one), and not another.

Trying to get a proper backtrace, but:

    dev-libs/crc32c: fix for arm64 without crc32

On arm64, the build system decided if the current CPU supports crc32
instructions, but forcing the compiler to support it and then checking
if it compiles. By removing the forcing, we really check if the arch
    supports it.

Bit thanks to Sam James <sam@gentoo.org> for testing and finding the
    issue in build system.
