This bug fix release breaks ABI compatibility with Octave 6.2.0. Re-build binaries (like .oct or .mex files) when updating to this version.

A standard copy/paste update, and I've dropped an old patch to one of the autotools macros. A comment stated that the macro took too long, but on my (ancient) machine it took about ten seconds. That is relatively long, but not compared to the rest of the Octave build, and not when considered against the burden of an eternal patch.
