Description David Seifert gentoo-dev 2021-09-18 08:16:56 UTC
Dear Lars,
gnupg and its associated libraries are an important part of a functioning Gentoo system. Seeing that base@ is a maintainer of app-crypt/gnupg, dev-libs/libgcrypt and app-crypt/pinentry, I would like to request adding base@ as a maintainer to the following packages:

dev-libs/libgpg-error
dev-libs/libksba
dev-libs/libassuan
app-crypt/gpgme
app-crypt/gpa

Thank you

It's been two weeks since my initial request. In a few days, I will assume silence means consent and add base@ to the aforementioned packages.

Dear David,

thanks but no thanks.

    dev-libs/libksba: update maintainers (add base-system@)

It makes sense for the gnupg stack to have aligned maintainers.
