A new version is out and a new ebuild is being worked on. This bug is just to let people know it has not been missed. The reason for it taking longer being a switch of build systems form autotools -> cmake

just an update: been looking into this after my holiday now, but they changed quite a few other things (optional deps -> required,..) so will take me a while longer to iron out some problems and test
