For me, "mirrorselect -a -r -o" returns rsync://mirrors.gethosted.online/gentoo first, but while it contains distfiles mirror, it doesn't contain gentoo repository mirror. Thus when this mirror is used, it's impossible to update gentoo repository. If this mirror is not suitable for gentoo repository update, mirrorselect shouldn't report it. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. configure gentoo to update via rsync and set sync-uri to "rsync://mirrors.gethosted.online/gentoo". 2. try updating repository via "emaint sync -a" or other similar command. Actual Results: rsync update error: receiving incremental file list rsync: change_dir "/metadata" (in gentoo) failed: No such file or directory (2) Expected Results: Successful gentoo repository update. Additionally, having some more descriptive error than just 'change_dir "/metadata" ... failed' would be good. Maybe some additional error message like "portage failed to sync, try using another mirror if error persists".
