Created attachment 715548 [details] new ebuild Hi, can you please update the obs studio ebuild? I've attached one for 27.0.1 that I got working. Basicially I removed the patches (It looks like they got added upstream), and disabled the new browser plugin thing (I don't know what that is, perhaps it should get added as it's own package if it's added at all). I've tested this ebuild and it works fine with v4l and x11. I haven't tested the new pipewire/wayland features.
Thank you for the report! Usually maintainers are aware of releases, so a request for a bump very soon after (like on the very same day) may get closed outright. I tend to wait a good while after OBS Studio releases, unless there are big fixes included, since point releases often happen soon after. Normally I would go for this release now, but we already have a pull request [1] that, among other things, includes a version bump, and I'd rather give that a little more time. 1. https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/18156
