Version 2.1.2 is available now as well here https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink/releases/tag/2.1.2
(In reply to (kusoneko) from comment #0) > Current version in gentoo is 2.0.0. (In reply to (kusoneko) from comment #3) > See attachment 716469 [details] in Comment 2. So, it's NOT in Gentoo. That's what I wanted to point.
(In reply to Christophe PEREZ from comment #5) 2.0.0 is certainly in ::gentoo since January https://gitweb.gentoo.org/repo/gentoo.git/commit/?id=87a0c6ec70d56ea2c61838fb70e2d75bb94a695e If you're not seeing it locally, please double check that the tree is up to date (check timestamp in emerge --info).
(In reply to Ionen Wolkens from comment #6) > If you're not seeing it locally, please double check that the tree is up to > date (check timestamp in emerge --info). I've just synced again. # emerge --info | grep Timestamp Timestamp of repository gentoo: Wed, 16 Jun 2021 19:45:01 +0000 But : # equery l -p streamlink * Searching for streamlink ... [-P-] [ ] net-misc/streamlink-1.3.1-r1:0 [-P-] [ -] net-misc/streamlink-9999:0 And I confirm having /usr/portage/net-misc/streamlink/streamlink-2.0.0.ebuild I don't understand. But that's surely not a problem with streamlink. Sorry.

That's what I wanted to point. That's a screenshot of packages.gentoo.org, so it is in gentoo.
(In reply to Christophe PEREZ from comment #7) > I don't understand. But that's surely not a problem with streamlink. Sorry. My guess would be that you have two trees, a /usr/portage and /var/db/repos/gentoo, perhaps due to misuse of deprecated PORTDIR variable. And tools aren't looking at the same thing. And indeed, I suggest taking this to support venus if need support with this rather than continuing here. https://www.gentoo.org/support/
(In reply to Ionen Wolkens from comment #9) > My guess would be that you have two trees, a /usr/portage and > /var/db/repos/gentoo, I don't think : # equery which streamlink /usr/portage/net-misc/streamlink/streamlink-1.3.1-r1.ebuild points to the same one. > perhaps due to misuse of deprecated PORTDIR variable. No PORTDIR > And tools aren't looking at the same thing. It could be, but I can't find why nor where. > And indeed, I suggest taking this to support venus if need support with this > rather than continuing here. > https://www.gentoo.org/support/ Of course. Already posted in forums. sorry.

No news ? No more streamlink in gentoo ?
3.1.1 is out https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink/releases/tag/3.1.1
3.2.0 is out https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink/releases/tag/3.2.0 this is turning into a news page :-)
4.0.1 is out https://github.com/streamlink/streamlink/releases/tag/4.0.1
The streamlink-9999 ebuild currently in ::gentoo has now also bitrotted, as it needs a new BDEPEND on dev-python/versioningit.
We've reached the one year anniversary of this bump request ~3 days ago! [Insert party emojis here].
