We seem to be a good few versions behind. I notice you're involved upstream.. still interested in maintaining the Gentoo package? it's alright if not, just let us know.
I'm sad to report that I've stopped using Gentoo some time ago, which is the reason for the stagnation of the ebuild. As such, I'm in little position to be the active maintainer of this package, seeing as I can't easily test changes.
