The Real Time Linux collaborative project homepage has moved to https://wiki.linuxfoundation.org/realtime/start According to it, they provide both stable and development versions of the rt patches, with the same long term support than the vanilla kernel. It would be good if portage can support the last stable version, which is 5.10.25_p35 at that time of writing. It would be good to update the HOMEPAGE variable to point to that wiki instead of the code repository at the same time. Reproducible: Always
Thanks for the bug. There is a github PR open at https://github.com/gentoo/gentoo/pull/19631 which should move all LTS branches forward. @shifty64 is looking at updating metadata as you suggest, and writing a small paragraph on the wiki page at https://wiki.gentoo.org/wiki/Kernel/Overview .
