Current (the only available) version of dev-php/pecl-amqp is 1.10.2 and supports php-7.4 only. Version 1.11.0beta (still beta, but better than nothing) is available at https://pecl.php.net/package/amqp With updating to php-8.0 and switching in make.conf to PHP_TARGETS="php8-0", installation of this (yet unstable) package required, but it it has no corresponding ebuild. Is it possible to add it to portage? In fact it's just copy of current ebuild with new name and USE flag changed, but it's inconvenient to install it from overlay every time.
