GTK2 is EOL and will need to go away eventually.

Upstream doesn't seem to be doing anything to remediate this. Most of their users are probably on Windows, so I'm guessing they'll wait until distros stop supporting them, and may or may not update at that point. I'm not sure what the timeline for removal is, but I'm happy to remove this package if it hasn't been fixed by then. If upstream addresses the issue we can always re-add it.
The latest version looks to be compatible with the new 3.2-gtk3
