Is this mostly the same as the snapshot?
Yes, mostly the same, with just a few bugs fixed. No new dependencies, no deps removed since the snapshot.
I still have technical difficulties, so can't open PR. You can bump it if you wish. There are some files added to repo which shouldn't be installed, like CoC. Just please make sure it's not copied to ${ED}.
