ghostscript 9.53 disabled building with openprinting support by default. It has to be enabled using --with-openprinting. The openprinting support is needed by the net-print/cndrvcups-lb driver. It would be good if a new use flag could be added to ghostscript so that it can be compiled with this feature. I modified the ebuild locally and confirmed that adding --with-openprinting to the configure built and fixed the issue when using the net-print/cndrvcups-lb driver to print.
