I have been checking asciidoc for updates, but was busy with real life, but also with improving my testing containers' setup (switching from shell scripts to Podman, basically). I'm still not completely happy with it (I miss a docker-compose equivalent), but it's better than before. The point being: I wasn't completely idle :-) . Looking at the change log again, "Fix python version check failing on 3.10" didn't stand out to me earlier, but does now. I assume that's why you want this sooner rather than later? I'm still building the test container, and will open a PR as soon as I've run the test suite locally.
