there is a note in the end of the release note 3.5.1 https://github.com/musescore/MuseScore/releases Personally I would use the 3.5.2 as workaround. Confirmed with media-sound/musescore$ GENTOO_MIRRORS="" ebuild musescore-3.5.1.ebuild fetch !!! Fetched file: musescore-3.5.1.tar.gz VERIFY FAILED! !!! Reason: Filesize does not match recorded size !!! Got: 66951878 !!! Expected: 66952759 while some mirrors still have the old, working file.
