i must admit i'm little bit confused from https://github.com/DrTimothyAldenDavis/SuiteSparse/tree/master/CHOLMOD but it seems 3.0.14 has been released.
We are a few suitesparse releases behind. Not as dramatic as it once was. But upstream makes our life difficult so far. I'll look into bumping suitesparse to 5.8.1. @science I may have new tarballs for stuff that hasn't been bumped to include improvement such as better versionned sonames. Are we ready to make that jump?
I have put a source tarball on the sage-on-gentoo mirror. Simple bump of the ebuild should work, although I didn't test all use flag combinations.
thanks. though i still have that issue reported in bug #715610 so it failed to compile for me.
I missed that bug, thanks for pointing out to it. I must say I am not in a position to test cuda, so outside testing is essential. I will try to look into it ASAP.
