Description Petr Cerny [:hrosik] 2020-09-06 20:49:27 UTC
sys-apps/portage is missing a dependency on findutils.

This means that bootstrapping new system e.g. with:

    emerge --root /new/gentoo/system portage

fails, since running portage from the resulting tree causes portage to die on an uncaught exception:

Comment 1 Petr Cerny [:hrosik] 2020-09-06 21:24:32 UTC
Emerging sys-apps/findutils into the new system fixes this problem.
