Please port to py3.

Only revdep: x11-apps/xauth.
Comment 2 Piotr Karbowski (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2020-08-02 18:45:21 UTC
Looks like cmdtest is maintainer needed, and has Python3 support in upstream repo, but never released, snapshotting will be required.
Comment 3 Matt Turner gentoo-dev 2020-08-02 19:08:23 UTC
I've emailed the upstream maintainer and asked for a new tagged release.

Cool, thanks. Would any of you be interested in maintaining it?
Comment 5 Piotr Karbowski (RETIRED) gentoo-dev 2020-08-03 13:51:52 UTC
I can take it upon myself unless there's someone who plan to do so, since it's dep of x11 package I feel obligated to have it maintained.

This is the response I received from the maintainer:

So I think we should just remove as a dependency of xauth[test] and proceed with treecleaning.

Sounds like your next stop is xauth upstream ;-).
