0.15.0 fails 2 tests on ppc (bug #736661).

Those tests fail to a timeout, probably due to low-powered computer running the tests. It's been proven these tests are not fatal and you could continue stabilization even when they fail.

So it probably was not slowness which made them fail. ;)
