So once again GNS3 is causing a lot of pain to other people. NonsolvableDepsInDev^O: version 2.2.8: nonsolvable depset(rdepend) keyword(~amd64) dev profile (default/linux/amd64/17.0/no-multilib/prefix/kernel-3.2+) (2 total): solutions: [ <=dev-python/jsonschema-2.6.0:=[-python_single_target_python3_7(-),python_targets_python3_7(-)] ]
I am on vacation right now so I don't intend on fixing this anytime soon. As I bumped GNS3 last, I found that most Cisco images are not even available anymore that dynamips can run. So, I have no interest in it anymore. Michal, feel free to last-rite the package, throw it to p-m, or fix the deps on it (if upstream changes support removing the constraints).

Hi, I would like to postpone this removal and take over these packages as proxy maintainer (PR incoming next). Regarding the issue i've already looked upstream and it seems that this issue is solved with version 2.2.10 [1]. Upstream made jsonschema-2.2.8 only a requirement on windows and osx and we are good to go with version 3.2.0. I already bumped gns locally to 2.2.11 and it works as expected (without jsonschema-2.2.8) [1] https://github.com/GNS3/gns3-server/commit/1f149769f272279d3354c0cc95efb02d8b453135
