Description Stefan Huber 2020-05-09 08:14:18 UTC
Due to latest switch to python-3.7 on amd64, ruamel-yaml needs python-3.7 support, which requires minimum version 0.15.97.
Comment 1 Andreas Sturmlechner gentoo-dev 2020-05-10 09:37:32 UTC
Please add arches if ready, there is no stable version that is py37 compatible.

Please also check all other packages *you* maintain that depend on python.

Personally I would go straight for 0.16 so that we include 3.8 support at the same time, that said we still need another week or so before that version is eligible for stabilisation.

That's a maintainer decision. Keep in mind that this package currently presents a default conflict for stable users.

Fair enough.

My bad, accidentally put in Closes instead of Bug in the second commit. NOT closed yet, still need arm64 and x86 to act.
Comment 8 Agostino Sarubbo gentoo-dev 2020-05-21 08:08:53 UTC
x86 stable
Comment 9 Sam James archtester Gentoo Infrastructure gentoo-dev Security 2020-06-06 19:40:55 UTC
arm64 stable, closing
