After upgrading to poppler-0.88, the utility pdfsig (the tool for digital signatures) fails with segfault when opening a pdf file. Version 0.87 works fine. Could you attach a sample file with which it is possible to reproduce the segfault?
Please test this patch: https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/-/commit/5cdb78fde50e3dc16006070b0884dfb6b23d964c
(In reply to Andreas Sturmlechner from comment #2) > Please test this patch: > https://gitlab.freedesktop.org/poppler/poppler/-/commit/ > 5cdb78fde50e3dc16006070b0884dfb6b23d964c Sorry for the delay, but I think now there's no need for test cases. Anyhow, I checked with pdf files shipped within ghostscript tarball, before and after the patch. The patch works for me as expected: "$file" does not contain any signatures (before, only examples/annot.pdf didn't segfault).
