704532 addresses the python 3 support, and libXxf86misc does not appear to be a dependency so it could be simply removed.
Please don't kill Cinnamon. I literally just got it last week and finished tweaking it a few days ago. Way better then Mate and more cohesive then Xfce.

Sorry, we can't keep it unless it has a maintainer given the bugs it's blocking. I've suggested that the author of the ebuilds in bug 704532 become a proxied maintainer, but I don't know whether he's pursuing that or not.
