Description Alessandro Barbieri 2020-04-29 21:17:44 UTC
I'm running dash as system shell

sudo rc-service slurmd start
/lib/rc/sh/openrc-run.sh: 7: /etc/init.d/slurmd: [[: not found
/lib/rc/sh/openrc-run.sh: 40: /etc/init.d/slurmd: Syntax error: "(" unexpected (expecting "}")
 * ERROR: slurmd failed to start

I confirm that with bash it start

In future, please consider marking bugs rendered obsolete as a consequence of tree cleaning as RESOLVED OBSOLETE. By contrast, WONTFIX can be construed as a refusal to address the bug, especially when no comment is given to explain its closure.

For the record, this is the commit that removed sys-cluster/slurm.
