musl.patch

This fixes build for musl, not sure what the darwin patch does exactly, but it conflicts.

Please refer to the ::musl overlay where the correct set of patches is available.

To date, upstream hasn't incorporated these files, and other musl distributions (eg. alpine, void) are carrying the same, or similar patches too.

+1

The version at https://salsa.debian.org/debian/netcat-openbsd/-/tags has been updated from 1.217 to 1.217-3 in the meantime.
Comment 5 Hank Leininger 2022-09-14 03:22:29 UTC
Yes please.

Debian is now at 1.218-5

Recent openbsd-netcat has changed behavior and output in -v (verbose) mode just enough that having different versions on Gentoo and Debian-like boxes was getting to be a problem.

I don't need musl or anything but amd64, but I can confirm that the current ebuild updated to the current Debian patchset, with those bits removed, builds fine.
