Thanks for pointing that out, I hadn't noticed because I didn't have kitty's shell completion activated. After activating it I can confirm that it requires that module as a runtime dependency. I will solve it as soon as possible.
Thanks for checking it out. I can also try to provide a patch to the ebuild if it will be of help? It's just I've never sent patches to Gentoo and I'm not too familiar with the expected workflow.
