Created attachment 628066 [details] libportal-git But since it has a new depoendency, ebuild changes are needed and a new ebuild for libportal. I've reworked and updated mine, which I've attached here. I added libportal under dev-libs in my overlay.

libportal and gnome-builder-3.36.0 compile fine and appear to be working without a problem, albeight I had to skip the patches of the latest version 3.34*. Didn't have the time to bother with them.
libportal is optional, just pass -Dplugin_update_manager=false
