Post emerge message includes QA: preinst QA Notice: Symbolic link /usr/lib64/virtualbox/components/VBoxREM.so points to /usr/lib64/virtualbox/VBoxREM.so which does not exist. Fortunately, I have not detected any problem caused by this, so I'm not actually sure if it really matters, or is just cosmetic. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. emerge virtualbox-6.1.x 2. 3. Actual Results: /usr/lib/virtualbox/components/VBoxREM.so is symlink to ../VBoxREM.so, which does not exist. Expected Results: Either /usr/lib/virtualbox/VBoxREM.so exists or the symlink does not. From https://www.virtualbox.org/wiki/Binaries_overview: "Our recompiler based on QEMU? for certain fallback situations."
Problem still present with 6.1.6
