Currently if compiled with USE=thunderbolt emerging fwupd should cause sys-apps/thunderbolt-software-user-space to be installed. This isn't actually a dependency of fwupd. It doesn't interact with security levels at all. I think it should be removed. Reproducible: Didn't try
