Every time I use ghostscript for any kind of pdf I get the message "DEBUG: no psname was provided.". The operation seems to work anyway. pdf2ps and ps2pdf output it on the console. When opening a pdf in ggv I get the message in a dialog box, but ggv shows the file correctly. gpdf hangs completely (might be unrelated). I think this is related to these bugs: http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2004-August/msg03145.html http://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-list/2004-June/msg02859.html I use ghostscript-7.07.1-r7 and I thing this bug appeared after the lastest upgrade. Created attachment 44496 [details, diff] Comment out "DEBUG: no psname provided" warning I looked into the redhat-fedora ghostscript-7.07-32.src.rpm and diff'd the current ghostscript-7.07-fontconfig-rh.patch with the one used in Gentoo's ghostscript-7.07.1-r7 ebuild. The difference is just (between some CFLAGS and LIB changes) that the statement "DEBUG: no psname provided" is commented out. The attached patch comments it out in the Gentoo patch gs7.07.1-fontconfig-rh.patch. Regards, Matthias
